OSINT IS NOT A CRIME is an OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) toolkit that helps you search for usernames across multiple platforms and analyze websites. It's useful for security researchers, journalists, and anyone who needs to verify online identities.
How do tokens work?
Tokens are our simple payment system. Each search or analysis costs a certain number of tokens:

Is my data private?
Yes, absolutely. We operate on a strict no-log policy:
- We don't store your search queries
- We don't store the results you find
- Search results expire after 15 minutes
- EXIF and OpenDoc analysis is done entirely in your browser
- Watchlist data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM (envelope encryption DEK/KEK) — only your account can decrypt it
What is RhinoScraper?
RhinoScraper is our advanced website analysis tool. It uses Smart Scan technology to automatically find and analyze the most relevant pages on a website.
What it extracts:
- Contact information (emails, phone numbers)
- Social media links
- Technologies used
- Security headers analysis
- Legal information (for EU sites)
- Company details from legal pages
- And much more...
Smart Scan (5 tokens): Intelligently discovers key pages like contact, about, legal, privacy, and terms pages using multilingual patterns. More efficient than blindly following all links.
What is Enrichment?
Enrichment is an optional add-on for username searches (+1 token). It runs targeted search engine queries to find additional mentions of the username beyond our site database:
- Profile pages: forums, member pages, community sites
- Marketplaces: second-hand and e-commerce platforms
- Email mentions: public references to email addresses linked to the username
Results are deduplicated and displayed in a dedicated section below the main search results. You can also enable enrichment on watchlist items.
What is the Watchlist?
The Watchlist lets you monitor a username over time. After running a search, click the Watchlist button to start monitoring. You can choose a frequency:
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly: automatic checks on a schedule
- Manual: you trigger checks yourself from the watchlist page
When changes are detected — new accounts, deleted profiles, or profile content changes (bio, avatar, followers, etc.) — you receive an email alert. You can view a detailed diff between snapshots directly in the watchlist page, including enrichment results if enabled.
Security: All watchlist data is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM using envelope encryption (DEK/KEK). Only your account can decrypt your snapshots. Each check costs 1 token (+1 if enrichment is enabled).
Can I get a refund?
Tokens are non-refundable once purchased. However, if you experience technical issues that prevent you from using tokens you've paid for, please contact us and we'll help resolve the situation.
